Executive Housekeeper for a Private Residence

A warm, appreciative New York City family is seeking an exceptional Executive Housekeeper to help lead the smooth, polished operation of their Upper East Side home .
This is a terrific opportunity for a highly capable, hands-on professional who loves creating order, setting high standards, and bringing out the best in a household team. The principals have pre-teen children and one small hypoallergenic dog, and they value excellence delivered with warmth, flexibility, and good judgment.

The residence is in a full-service luxury building on the Upper East Side. Immediate interviews are available.
What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of daily housekeeping, deep cleaning, organization, and the overall presentation of the residence.
- Care expertly for fine furnishings, surfaces, linens, delicate garments, wardrobes, closets, and household storage areas.
- Keep supplies, toiletries, pantry items, cleaning products, and household systems well organized and consistently stocked.
- Work hands-on with the existing team, modeling best practices, mentoring staff, and helping refine routines and standards.
- Anticipate the family's preferences and help schedule the team to support privacy, efficiency, and a beautifully run home.
What We're Looking For:
- Significant experience as an Executive Housekeeper or senior-level Housekeeper in a high-standard private home.
- A true hands-on leader with strong judgment, high EQ, and a proven ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Outstanding organization, discretion, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- A positive, flexible, no-job-too-small attitude suited to a relaxed household culture with very high expectations.
- Excellent, verifiable references.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Some days will start at 12:00 pm or 2:00 pm if there is a dinner planned.
- Some flexibility to work additional hours as needed is appreciated.
Compensation
- Salary range $130,000 to $150,000 commensurate with experience
