About the Opportunity
This is a primarily hands-on position responsible for the meticulous care, cleanliness, and overall presentation of an elegant private residence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and naturally proactive, with a passion for maintaining impeccable standards throughout the home.
Responsibilities include comprehensive housekeeping, expert laundry and wardrobe care, and ensuring every space is consistently guest-ready and maintained to the highest level. The successful candidate will anticipate the household's needs, take ownership of their work, and bring a polished, professional approach to every aspect of home care.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully presented home on a daily basis
- Care for fine furnishings, artwork, glass surfaces, high-end finishes, and wardrobe with attention and expertise
- Manage laundry and linens, including ironing, steaming, and closet organization
- Assist with light meal prep, grocery shopping, and household stocking
- Coordinate vendors, service appointments and deliveries, run household errands, and help oversee routine household needs
- Keep closets, pantries, and storage spaces organized and functional, including monitoring household stock and expiration dates
- Support the household with a proactive, can-do attitude
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a high-end private residence
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Experience caring for luxury homes and materials
- Flexible and willing to adjust the schedule when needed
- Reliable, professional, and service-oriented mindset
- Excellent references
Schedule
Generally, Monday through Saturday, starting at 10:00 am. Flexibility is important, with the ability to adjust the schedule for occasional evenings, weekends, entertaining and household needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- $45–$50 per hour, based on experience, and includes a benefits package with health insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.
