An executive couple is seeking an exceptional Executive Housekeeper. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional who takes pride in their craft, thrives on organization and detail, and enjoys being an integral part of a private domestic team.
This role is ideal for a polished, proactive professional who truly enjoys managing a residence to the highest standards. You will have full ownership of the home environment, anticipating needs, maintaining impeccable order, and ensuring the principals feel completely cared for.
Some intermittent travel with the principal is required (mostly to NYC for 1-2 weeks at a time) and this will be explained in the interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Full oversight of daily, weekly, and deep cleaning of luxury residences
- Expert care of fine furnishings, antiques, artwork, marble, silver, crystal, fine linens, and cookware
- Develop and follow detailed cleaning and household maintenance schedules
- Perform a daily Walk-through to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Comprehensive wardrobe and laundry care, including handwashing, steaming, pressing, and dry-cleaning coordination
- Simple and very light daily cooking and kitchen management; grocery shopping and inventory management
- Table setting, service, and clean-up for small gatherings
- Assistance with pet care for a small dog
- Vendor oversight, errands, guest support, and general household coordination
- Driving is a plus but not required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Chief Stew, Domestic Couple, or related role
- Excellent, verifiable references
- Professional, discreet, and service-oriented with impeccable standards
- Highly organized, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Warm, happy, with positive energy
- Flexible and adaptable to schedule changes and travel
- Knowledgeable in fine home care protocols and garment care
- Clear communication skills in English
- Long-term mindset and genuine pride in creating exceptional home environments
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not required
Schedule:
- Generally, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm)
- Flexibility needed for some early starts or later evenings and some weekend work
- The principal offers an alternate day off when a weekend day is worked
Compensation:
- Compensation of $45-$55/hour offered, depending on experience
